Under 8 Cup Final 1

Under 8’s Semi Final’s

The Guru Nanak first played Medway United South in a challenging game which was fast paced but the boys retained their positions and showed some excellent footballing skills in the first half which resulted in Devan Mudahar scoring a cracking goal. The team stayed focused in the second half and battled on to win the Semi-final. The Guru’s won by 1- 0

The Final

The Guru’s next played Gravesham Gravesham Borough in the final. This game was very competitive and physical as each team wanted to win. The Guru’s fought hard and played some incredible football. They listened to their coaches and were cheered on by parents, club officials and other coaches all the way. In the first half the boys played some slick football resulting in Raam Jassal scoring 2 goals which meant the Gurus were close to bring the cup home. After a quick pep talk from Happy & Paul the boys came out fighting in the second half and defended really well. The second half of the final was a challenge but the boys battled hard to secure the cup and brought it home with pride and passion.

Man, of Match was chosen by an independent person and Devan Mudahar received this recognition and was presented with a football. Well done Devan, the team, coaches and parents are very happy for you. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to everyone who has supported the Guru Nanaks Under 8’s. Your time, commitment and passion for the boys to win has been recognised by us all.

All at the club would like to extend our thanks to the North Kent Youth League and the players/parents of Medway United South, Gravesham Borough and Longfield Tigers for a memeorable day.
