 Guru Nanak FC will once again be hosting the next FA Level 1 course.


The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football is the first stepping-stone on the core coaching pathway. It will provide you with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under 7 to open age.

You will gain an insight into the game in England, how it is played and how you can coach to better support the development of future players.

Who is it for?
The FA Level 1 in Coaching is for anyone interested in learning more about football coaching. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you to coach football at the grassroots level.

Why study this course?
The course will provide you with insight into the game in England, how it’s played and how you can coach to better support the development of future players.

You will be introduced to the practical and theoretical aspects of planning, delivering and reviewing individual football coaching sessions and the foundation level of knowledge and skills developed through this qualification will enable you to create safe, fun and engaging coaching sessions through the building, developing and extending a series of linked practices.

Be at least 16 years of age.

Course fees will vary across County FAs. To find out more please contact your local County FA directly.

43 hours (total qualification time) / 33 hours (guided learning).

Guru Nanak Gravesend (GNG) Football are Kent’s largest Multi-Cultural Football Club and are based in Gravesend, Kent.

We have gained an excellent reputation as ambassadors for Gravesham and North West Kent, having played and won major honours in local leagues for the last 50 years. GNG currently runs 13 youth teams and three Senior Teams both on Saturdays and Sundays.
